Hi

I was just wondering if it is possible to spur from the cooker outlet and connect to a FCU to be used for the gas cooker igniter?

Many thanks for any advice.

I guess the igniter FCU would be adjacent to the existing cooker point?
If so then you can do that. Either an FCU or a single socket outlet is OK.

The neatest way is to change the existing single back box for a dual box . You'll need a good deep one as the existing cable is rally thick and you need room to terminate it.
