sticking hardboard on concrete??

any ideas? am trying to lay hardboard on a floor which is a mixture of wood and concrete. As a leveling base for cork, I was told to use tile adhesive which doesn't seem to do the job.


Can anyone recommend another adhesive?

you should be using smoothing compound not hardboard.
