hi,
is it possible to get thicker flues than others? weird question maybe, but my stove takes a 6" flue and in the collar( which bolts on ), with the flue I have it leaves a big gap all around the collar, whereas on my friends stove, the collar fits snugly on the flue. why would this be? Do i have an odd section of enamel flue? it is 6" exactly to the outside of the flue pipe. Can you get flue pipe that is 6" to the inside measurement? Anyone got any ideas, the collar has a edge running all the way round at the base on the inside, that looks like the flue would fit perfectly in, but it is way too big, help!

ah ha, I thought it should be! no It's 6" to the outside of the flue, could it be an odd flue piece? do they vary at all? I cant see why they have a collar if there's a gap? The book says its a 6" flue and i have a flue with an outside diameter or 6" but stil a fair gap ??

just thought id better add a point. I had the flue (twin wall and enamel inside) fitted by some cowboys (HETAS registered ones tho) and they may have cut the end off or something. Should the end be straight or should it swell out to fit maybe as it does on the other ends?
