I moved into my first flat a few weeks ago, and am unfamiliar with some of the strange noises that are being made, and am not sure if they're supposed to be there. In the night when the immersion heater is on (Economy 7 heating), there's a loud "blub blub blub" sound (Don't laugh, its the best way I can describe it! just imagine barney rubble saying it, and thats what it sounds like). Is this right? It sounds to me like large air bubbles going up the tank, but I'm not sure. If it is, I'm not sure if it should be doing this? Sorry to sound so confusing, but any help / comments much appreciated!
