STRANGE SHOWER PROBLEM

Have this Mira shower, the type that takes water from hot and cold supply. When the radiators are on and I go to have a shower, the pressure of the water is poor and often comes through cold or just lukewarm. If I turn the shower off and then straight back on again it often solves the problem but sometimes it takes turning it off and on two or three times before the temperature/pressure is ok. Tonight (no heating on), the shower was A1, proper pressure etc. Can anyone let me know if there is something easy to do to get rid of this problem. Please be gentle with me explaining - thanks

It sounds as if this fellow has a combi boiler which is not always responding to a DHW demand.

He probably needs a boiler engineer to look at the diverter or DHW flow switch.
