Dear All

Can anyone tell how hard it is to either replace or repair a stubborn Hot Water Bathroom tap which is very hard to open etc? The taps have been place roughly about 20 Years! Is this an easy job to repair or would it be better to rpelace the Mixer Tap completely? If it can be repaired what exactly is involved?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

Easier to repair with new tap heads available from most DIY sheds

If you type in 'replace tap' to google, you will see a demonstration with pics of how to do it.

Many thanks Nigel F

I took the Tap apart and found the insert had seized, sprayed WD40 and loosened the insert sufficiently for it to work again. Many thanks.
