Hi All
I have a long standing and impossible-to-explain-factually problem whereby using any appliance in my loft en-suite creates a nasty smell in the kitchen. However, I'm not looking for answers to this in this forum as it's too difficult to explain and troubleshoot remotely. All obvious routes have been looked into. I've had two plumbers (one who installed the bathroom, one who was fitting a shower) both confused and/or completely out of their depth when I asked them about the potential cause. One told me it was impossible that it happens at all. On that basis, don't want to get into online to-and-fro as it'll waste your time!
What I'm interested to know is are there tradesmen who specialise in plumbing fault finding and 'diagnosis'?
What I need is someone willing to spend the time really exploring the cause and finding a solution. I'm concerned that another (for want of better term) generalist won't be the best person to analyse the situation, and I may be incurring a high rate-per-hour rather than paying for a specific fault finding service...
If that makes any sense whatsoever, be great to hear your thoughts.
Andy
