Sunvic Select XL Timer

Evening, i have a Sunvic select XL central heating timer.

yesterday it stopped working. it lost all power with no lights showing and the screen has went blank. it has obviously stopped me from being able to turn my water heater and radiators on.

i thought it may have been the battery, but i took the timer unit off the wall and replaced the lithium battery inside. still no joy.

can anybody offer me any guidance in how to fix my problem without the need to call out a plumber/spark.

That is the worst programmer ever made. You need a new one.

Thanks Jeff, any suggestion as to what the fault might be?
Also, any recommendations for a new timer unit?

+1 to that. I avoid Sunvic like the plague.

My recommendation would be a Drayton LP722 or MiTime dual channel programmer, depending on how much 'bling' you want, but opinions will vary.
