Suprima 80, led flashing red rapidly

I got my suprima about 4 months ago. recently it was not igniting just flashng red trying to ignite and then giving up. So I pressed the reset button, and it decided to flash red ever since. It seems to be working ok, but difficult ot tell since it' summer and only used for hot water at the mo.

I've tried resetting it, but it still keeps flashing red rapidly.

Can anyone help.

p.s. after reading a few post about the suprima, I'm starting to have regrets!!!

If you got it 4 months ago, it's still under guarantee. Why don't you call Potterton?

thanx ! no its just in diagnostic mode hold the reset button in for 10 secs and it will stop

also dont be too woried as all the problems were with the pcbs on the old boilers and yours will have the new style pcb ie one light
