hello guys

part of sum intimidation, was said to damage my car by tampering with the fan and its electrics to exhuast. ironically my fan is playing up seems to be on turbo with heavy vibrations so bad that it covers engine noise.

can interfering with the elecy's cause such things to happen?

engine runs fine
temps up as normal
then wow ive got my very own james bond speed boat, turn the engine of(elecy's on) and hey i wouldnt even know my engine was off.

If you put the first two lines of your post into plain english we may be able to answer your query. Oh and can you post some details about the make, model etc of your car.

yeah no probs my kids got a claim for dog attacking her and the owner resorted to threats and intimidation on collecting the details of insurance etc, where it was said to the guys friends that a car would be interfered with causing the fan to run incorrectly by altering the connections to the fan and jamming something in the fan, to cause max damage to rad and overheat engine on fan failure ect basically to result in loss to myself cos he allowed his dog to attack my girl.

he received soliciotrs letter 2 days ago and my fan played up yesterday, ironic or intefered with im not sure.

Just to get it clear, you are talking of the radiator fan at the front of the engine? You are saying it is noisy but otherwise is working as it should i.e. cuts in when the engine temp gets too high? If you pop the bonnet and spin the fan by hand does it spin quietly? I may sound pedantic but it may be advisable to lift a battery terminal/unplug motor whilst doing this so it can't inadvertently start.
If you are worried take your car to your local garage and let them have a look.
I didn't think your car was available with a turbo, or was that just an expression??

Ok I think I got the gist of your post. You believe someone may have interfered with the fan on your car! This maybe a long shot, but unless they had the bonnet up, it seems to me, to be a very difficult thing to do from underneath the car in the dark. (unless they know the model of car inside out)
Still don't know the make and model of the car, but it would appear to have a two speed fan fitted, controlled by a relay. If the fan is running on fast all the time the relay has probably failed. It shouldn't do the car any harm in the short term but may cause the heater to blow colder. if you don't know about these things take to you local auto electrician or local garage.
PS If your kids been attacked by a dog shouldn't you be involving the police!!

I think he said ford escort encore 1.4 1997.
Is it possible for someone to push something through between the radiator fins??

dont really understand what most of your thread is about, but why dont you just go round and knock him out?

The vibration from the fan could be a loose mounting bolt/s. As I said before if it is a two speed fan controlled by a relay that has failed, when the fan cuts in it's going onto fast speed and staying on. If the fan has come loose this could be causing the vibration. Could also be the bearing that the fan spins on is on the way out. In which case time to replace the fan.

found metal clip on fan blade, fan now unbalanced causing wear to bearings hence noise and vibrations.
