Switch operates wrong way round

But three way switching would beggar that up.

In our bedroom we have a 2-gang 2-way architrave switch each side of the bed.

One gang on each is wired 1-way and operates a wall light on that side of the bed.

The other gangs are wired with an intermediate switch by the door and control the ceiling light.

It is possible to get very anal and bent out of shape about the different combinations of switch positions.

It's also possible to realise that there are more important things to worry about.

Believe me, if you saw this extension you would be worried about various aspects of it too. I wish I'd known now what I do about various aspects of building construction and I probably wouldn't have bought the house.

I don't really care if it's wired correctly though.

I seem to be getting told if the lights switch on and off it's safe as far as wire positions are concerned so I'm happy with that answer and will worry no more.
