Tamp Bell

I am reinstalling a Texecom 24W.

Until I connect a bell unit, should I put a link between tamp - bell?

I know this is a stupid question, but I just want to check before I blow the panel.

Also I have links across all 4 wired zones and the aux fault, but Online Status and control in Wintex shows the zone status as tamper, even though each PIR is set as not in use. Auxiliary tamper in the Wintex does not show tamper just a clear circle.

Global options > monitor hardware > allows you to turn off bell tamper, aux tamper etc.... Or link accross Ov & Tamp for bell, if your using a wireless one. Zones will show tamper even if prog not used, no need to link out.
