Hi Guys,

Need to tee of a 15mm pipe which is tucked away neatly in the corner of a room, as its in the corner, and close to the wall I can not get a pipe slice on it

Whats the best way of cutting this? A hacksaw is not exactly going to be easy either.

Sure you old hand have a very neat little trick for such an occasion.

Many thanks

prise pipe away from wall with wedges and use a jijsaw with a fine metal blade.
take precautions ie water and electrics.

Not sure that will be possible, does not appear to be much movement in the pipe

Thanks for the advice though.

A padsaw, or a 32TPI hacksaw blade with one end well bound with duct tape to form a handle. I normally tape a blade up so it cuts on the 'pull stroke.

As gasisexpensive has said, use wedges behind and under to support the pipe, and protect the wall from the end of the saw blade.

Black and decker scorpion saw.
Been through 3 at 50 quid each and hundreds of blades at a tenner each and i still wouldn't be without it !
