I know tradesmen have there own quick methods with dealing with sealing pipes.
My question is.
I have to replace a rusted/holed leaking radiator. Both valves are seized.
Apart from switching the pump off... How best can I stop water flow from the pipes temporarily when I lift the radiator and valves off. I would preferably want to replace the copper olives?
I would not want to drain down etc. Are there temp bungs available which can be inserted into the pipe to allow the olives to be replaced?
Not sure freezing the pipes would be a quick, cheap option!
Thanks
