my boiler is a tempra 18 ferroli and keeps shutting down every 2-3 minutes ,the burners fire up but for only that 2-3 mins , ive had an engeneer in and says it was the thermostat (which he replaced )£269 he charged for investigation and thermostat ,that was 5 days ago so can anyone have any suggestions as to say to him when they eventually come back (apart from( f/'#/.') the boiler also heats my hot water and that doesnt work either also i have a timer in the kitchen (which works ) as the lights come on so if you can help pleaseeeee tytyty

I'd call this a callback on the original work..which he has presumably guaranteed at that price, so call him back as his original diagnosis was wrong.

Everyone deserves a second chance, but don't take any c**p about it being a different fault, he just hasn't cured the first one! You should not have to pay for labour, but if parts are needed you should pay for them.

Its not a boiler i'm familiar with at all..sorry.
