Quite true but the thing is they will sell for that money trust me.

I'm 42 and passed my test in 88 and my first 3 cars were RS's - a mk1 RS2000, a mk2 RS2000 and then a Mexico, i then had a few sensible years before getting another mk1 Mexico but this one was an AVO....very rare if you know you're RS's ;) ........try finding one now!
 
The escort was a nice looking motor, but one hell of a rust box :(

I had a Hillman Avenger. Is it still worth f*ck all.????? :LOL:

theres a guy near where i work,has a hillman imp.
dunno if it was a 4 seater coz it aint now as the engine is bloody huge,horrible brown rusty colour,but im thinking its goner be BLOODY fast when hes finished.

Hillman Imps were horrible looking things though gregers.

Some great shapes in the past though. I'd love to see them customized rather than restored.
 
Ford scrap only makes more money because of the number of mouth breathing knuckledraggers that bought them.....Now inked up sons of said knuckledraggers are paying wayyyyy over the odds for good looking but ultimately ****e motors.....go figure.
