are universal thermcouple suitable fir every boiler with a perm pilot? My boiler pilot has gone out, and won't hold when relit. I have got a universal one.
Having visually looked at the thermocouple tip and cleaned it, it still does not hold. I also have seen that there is an overheat interrupter connected and removing that to prove it's faulty, the pilot still goes out.
I have connected the universal thermocouple but still no good, but I am wondering maybe universal thtermocouples don't fit / work on all boilers?
Thanks for your help
Is there anyway I can test the thermcouple to prove it's the fault?
