Thermostat not working?

Hi,

I'm new to this so please bear with me. My thermostat in the living room doesn't make a click sound when you turn it around so the heating doesn't come on. Any ideas what's happened or what I can do to fix it? Is there any other way that I can put the heating on without the thermostat? I've got a combi-boiler that's 3 years old if that helps!

Is it a new problem?

Is your programmer set on and your stat on the boiler up?

On the face of it, it sounds like you need a new stat.

You could bypass this but only if you understand how to re-wire the stat or the connections at the boiler or programmer.

One presumes the HW works ok?
