Thermostat sourcing!!

Hi, i left my economy 7 water tank to heat up overnight so i could have a bath in the morning before work and i woke up that morning to find my hall and my bathroom and the hot water tank cupboard covered in condensation and the lid of the water tank rattling up and down due to i guess my thermostat not working and obviously it was boiling like a kettle, very scary, anyway i was wondering if anyone out there can point me in the right direction so i can buy a new one?

The only information i have about my tank is that it has 2 heating elements fitted to it, dont know if the thermostats you buy are standard and will fit to any tank?

turn off power to immersion
undo 2 wires
remove stat
take it to plumbcenter or the like for new one
fit new one in reverse order

Thankyou for that Mick, i was trying to source one over the internet but i think that will be a better idea really
