Thermostat?

Pity - it's too far (I'm in South Manchester).

Can you provide details of what specific sunvic model thermostat you have and also which boiler you have? Then (if noone else can advise), I'll search for diagrams and see if we can get somewhere towards a solution.

Thankyou for this the boiler is a biasi M96 28sm/c2
and the themostat is a sunvic TLX RFP.

and as I sead its volt free thanks again.

Hi steve
on the stat you need live and neutral connected to L and N
you also need a pair connected to Com and NO (we will call these the link pair)

at the boiler you will also have a live and neutral connected to L and N
take out the room thermostat link and connect the link pair into the two terminals the link was in, it doesnt matter which way round

any earthing has not been mentioned for clarity

Matt

matt is clearly more conversant with this type of wiring.

However you may find pages 32 and 33 of this useful for finding the link wire.

Thanks dextrous I didn't have the manual to hand at time of posting
Steve it's page 29 of the manual if you have the manual in paper form(or page 33 if you are using Adobe via dextrous's link)
figures 6.12 and 6.13 are what you are looking for
