As I'm T'ing off the existing central heating I was wondering whether its worth adding a magnaclean filter to the system. Seems like a great idea if they actually do what they claim. Anyone use one on their own system and would recommend it? If so is their a best place to put them or anywhere on the system?

Amazing what rubbish they catch, water can look crystal clean and it still grabs rubbish out of the system! Great help to the system!!

I knew that already - it was merely a gentle tease, oilman.

I first used these about a month ago for my mother in laws heating system. What a load of sludge they trap, its amazing.
Even after a powerflush they still caught a fair bit after a week or so.

I have ordered one for my system as I was so impressed with them.
Cheapest place I have found to get them from is actually Ebay at around £70 delivered.

Get one,you wont be dissapointed. :)
