I have a double garage with a concrete floor and would like to tile it with ceramic/quarry tiles. The floor is rough in places and smooth in others and has been painted with proper 2 pack floor paint which has flaked up in a couple of places.
The question is, can I just lay the tiles on top of the paint or will I have to remove it first (if so how). Also, should I be using some sort of levelling compound before I tile.
The garage is used as a general workshop and always has 2 cars parked inside.
Any help appreciated, thanks
