As part of a kitchen refub, I am tiling around the kitchen window opening. The window has timber arcs, casings and a timber window board.
I am tiling a splashback and want to tile into the window opening, but am unsure what to do with the arcs and casings around the window. Can these be cut at the height of the splashback? Would it be better to replace these with a chamfered end timber or are these just butted up?
Any help much appreciated.
