tiling around bath

hello i am very green to tiling but i will be tiling my own bathroom to save money , firstly i have re skimmed all walls but when installing bath tio the right level i have noticed that the bath sits flush at both ends of wall but in the middle of the wall running about twelve inches along the length of the bath there is a gap of about quarter of inch from bath to wall. will this corse me problems when tiling on top of bath

first get your floor sorted out... ;)

have you screwed the bath to the walls?..with brackets provided with it?

when did you skim it?..leave it to dry before tiling..

seal around bath with silicone,then put plug in bath and half full the bath with water,leave overnight for silicone to set/seal.

pull plug out next day,you could buy a "feb seal" for around bath(homelux)..google it mate. ;)
