hi all,
I am about to start tiling my bathroom floor.
The floor is made up of wooden planks with old lino tiles glued to them.
I've managed to get some of the lino off but most of it is stuck too firmly to the wood beneath.
I am nailing thin wood sheets to the floor to make the tiling surface a bit more even.
I'm not sure what type of wood the sheets are made off, but do I need to treat the wood with varnish or something before sticking the tiles down wih tile adhesive?
Thanks.
