do i need any special grout
what is the best edging for finishing the tiles off
should i apply any no slip covering (if available)

thanks in advance :D :D

My opinion would be to use paving slab for step as I find ceramic tile step are slippery when wet. Ceramic tiles are very popular in country like Spain and have seen a few accident. I take it you mean ceramic tiles ? Having said that, might be best to pop down to the tiles shop and see if you think they are safe. I not up to date with them now, so maybe they do a heavy duty non-slip tiles.

thanks for your reply.

The top step 1m x 1.5m and I'm likley to place a large foot mat on top of the tiles. I know that it then seems pointless but the slabs don't realy do much for the look of the extension.

Thanks anyway, I think that i'll take a trip to tops tiles

Cheers
