So I need to run lighting cable along/through my joists to the point where the light fitting will be. Then I need to get plasterboard tacked and skimmed to make a nice new ceiling. So the wiring needs to be out of the way when the plasterboard is tacked, yet accessible for when I drill a hole for the fitting and pull the end of the cable through.
Any tips for how I should 'temporarily' secure the cable ends?
