We are going to tile our bathroom floor to ceiling and are unsure if we can just start or need to prime the walls first of all. I've read the sticky but am still unsure if the advise applies to my circumstances.
We are having a shower above the left end of the bath, this wall is currently plaster boarded but is going to be aqua panelled. the wall behind the bath is brick, plastered and painted with bathroom paint. The opposite wall where our sink will be is plasterboard (unsure if its also plastered) and painted with bathroom paint.
I'm guessing I won't need to prime the aqua board wall, but what about above the bath and sink?
We have bought http://www.toppstiles.co.uk/tprod4701/section949/Metallic-Random-Mix-Mosaic to do a feature above our bath and are looking to get http://www.tilehq.co.uk/tiles/laura-ashley/cottonwood/cottonwood-feature-white-tile.html for the rest of the room. I'm not sure how to calculate if the plaster can take the weight.
All help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks
