to relay or not (alarm) relay texecom 24 or 48

hi all

I am looking at upgrading to texecom (wired) 24 or 48 + 8xp I am wanting to switch outside lights on when the alarm is actavated.

the 48 has the capability of the RM8 board. but the 24 has not I am lead to believe, I would never use more than 10 to 12 zones so think the 48 would be over kill, is there an alternative way of triggering relays on the 24

Just wire a standard relay to an output ! , elmdene do a mains switching relay or my favourite a gjd lighting system ( you can override with a relay input )

thanks for the quick reply . I think I might go for the output as in the manual I just down loaded with a 12v relay . but the gjd systems do look good ,
