Hi All,

My toilet is leaking when its flushed - there are drips at this point here.

I thought it must be related to where the flush valve meets the cistern / basin. However the flush valve can be removed from the cistern so I removed it and turned the water back on so it was constantly flowing from the cistern down to the toilet and it didn't leak?. I put the flush valve back, let it fill up and flushed and it started leaking again! Any ideas?

I was going to take the cistern off but the nuts are jammed tight so hoping WD40 will do its magic.

Thanks

A full tank flush creates more pressure so causes leak. When you take the cistern off you will find the the large round doughnut shaped washer that seals between the two.
