Hi there,

Can someone help me with the above as i cant get an emergency plumber out

The water supply was cut today due to a burst main. The supply is now back and the kitchen tap (mains fed) is now working again but the toilet wont flush (cistern remains empty - does not refill), the power shower and upstairs tiolet and kitchen (downstairs) hot taps are airlocked. Will this also effect the oil central heating?

Can someone tell how to fix this as I haven't a clue!??

In the attic is a big tank check to see if the ball valve is stuck try giving it a wiggle, while your there have a look in the small tank (Im guessing you have a vented boiler) if there is water in this tank then your central heating will be OK.
