toshiba c660 problems

hi does anyone know how to reset a toshiba c660 laptop my grandson was on it and the laptop frooze instead of asking for help he removed the battery and now it wont knock back on.

When the battery is removed (and the power supply from the mains is disconnected) the machine should just stop. Restoring the power by re-inserting the battery and plugging in the "charger" should then permit the laptop to restart normally. Try disconnecting the power, remove the battery and hold the power switch down for 30 seconds. Leave the machine for 15-20 minutes, replace the battery, replace the mains power lead and try restarting it again. Please post back with how you get on.
