Hi all newcomer to forum can anyone give advice about Trany battery draining 300 LWB TD

Van battery drains overnight in winter due to temperature will drain and needs charging every 2 days summer lasts 4 days or so.Have an Aldi battery pack starter but on my second one now

Have disconnected hands free and internal lights are off radio has been disconnected no other add ons from manufacture.

Have measured the current being drawn but not sure what the acceptable level should be after clock and other essential items connected. Woundered if there is a crank case heater coming on when it shouln't any advise would be welcomed

It was a while back since I measured current drawn cannot remember the amount.
And no doesn't have a taco

Will measure tomorrow and post.

Thanks for reply

hi , try unpluging the alterator when you park it up for the night, next morn plug in and try to start the engine you may find it will fire up ok, in which case your alternator has an open circuit and needs recon.
