Trench blocks - dims?

The height and length of these blocks are usually the same as a standard building block (215mm x 440mm).
the width of these blocks varies depending on the width of the cavity. At the moment the regulations are such that most builders are using 75mm wide cavities and the most readily available blocks are those 275mm in width.
However they are available in a variety of widths (certainly 300mm) to suit various cavity dimensions, and I have heard of different lengths being available too. Be careful though because as I found to my cost recently , specifying a "not stock" size may mean buying them by the pallet (40 odd).
