Hi we have a tribune range cylinder which stores hot water and also has a switch for immersion heater. The problem we have is that the upstairs rooms get extremely warm due to the heat from the tank. We do not have the immersion heater on due to hot water coming from the boiler. How can I turn the cylinder off to stop the rooms getting so warm especially in the summer periods?

These are extremely well insulated so unlikely the excess heat is from the cylinder, more likely to be from uninsulated pipe work
