We have an Opal Triton shower, and yesterday water started gushing out of a small plastiv tube (behind where the shower connects).

I have read on various other pages that this is dur to a PRV issue. I have taken off the fron case of the main shower unit but i cannot see what the PRV part is.

I also read that this can only be replaved, not repaired, if so, is this a straightforward fix?.

Also, in the second picture, you will see a pipe, which goes behind the tiles and into the main unit. Could there also be a kink ot tear on the rubber tubing fro the pipe to the main unit that would cause the problem...? (Before i start disconnecting things, taking off tiles etc etc...)

Thanks in advance.

located behind the plastic outlet tube.

replace it, 10 min job.

the fault is on the outlet side of the tank
either kinked or damaged hose or blocked shower head.

they can also blow with a sudden rise in the mains water pressure but rare.

new one costs about £10
