Hi I am about to change a number of radiator valves to TRV's. I wish to know the most reliable make to use? I have read all of the arguments on another board where some argue for the cheapest that B&Q do etc but it simply confused me even more - as if that were possible :(

I have searched this forum before posting but have simply become confused. So which is preferred by you guys for both ease of fitting and for reliability. BTW what is difference between contract and non-contract Danfoss TRV's other than that one looks more attactive than the other?

BTW I will be leaving the hall radiator with a standard valve and the thermostat will also be located in the hallway.

Many thanks

Contract = cheapest you can get for a given spec.

Liquid filled last longer and possibly work a bit quicker than wax filled.

Drayton TRV4 or Honeywell VT200 are about the best looking.

Thanks Chris but which would you recommend?
