My candy tumble dryer goc590c is just making a humming noise when switched on.
From what I have read it could be the capacitor does this sound right?
If so where do I get one?
And could someone tell me how to replace it?

well it could be the capaictor.
but it could be other things.
pull the machine out and run it without the cover off. that way you should be able to locate the sound.

if it is a capaictor, it's generally not ex-changable unless you have some VERY GOOD soldering skills.

Otherwise, you will need to replace the entire electronics board and for that your looking at £40-100. they are expensive.

I would double check the noise inst coming from somewhere else though, usually the motors can cause a noise, but thats just a wild guess going off the info you provided.
