Hi due to lack of space I need to put one on top of the other. It will be in an alcove in the kitchen. Will be installing new standpipe is it an issue having the standpipe in the middle of the two machines? IE i am sure i have read when installing washing machines that the waste pipe outlet should rise first. Or if i have dreamt this i take it the bottom machine will be able to pump upwards to say around 800mm

tks

Yes waste has to rise above point of entry to pipework to avoid it siphoning back into dishwasher.

Hi thanks for the answer. By point of entry do you mean where the flexible tube enters the machine. So as long as I bring the pipe to above this level for the top machine I should be ok.

Thanks
