Turquoise / green bits in hot water

Hi all I have a Worcester Bosch 28cdi combi boiler it is around 10 years old, about 3 months ago I noticed turquoise bits coming from the hot tap, these bits are very soft and when rubbed between the fingers they disappear. does anyone know what is the likely cause of this?

the diverter valve was replaced about 4 years ago after black bits in the hot water which turned out to be bits of the perished diaphragm from the diverter valve.

anyway any help would be great
