we all know that the watershed for grown up programs starts at 9pm ( or 8pm on sky movies i think? ), but what time does it end?

I'm having bad insomnia at the moment ** and noticed while flicking channels at 05:30ish in the morning that some channels, that are showing movies that start around the 04:00 - 04:30 time, you need to put in the PIN after 05:30 .. presumably so that the little tots that are up early can't catch the tail end of some sci-fi horror movie or something...?

Those 'Pin' ones are all the porno ones aren't they?

Naughty boy!

I am often up with my youngest from 5.00 am and I don't quite get this, On a freeview channel they have a channel called Bang Babes, scantilly clad girls writhing around on settee's etc and this goes on until 9.00am apparently, so where is the censorship in this? Not that I watch it of course, just telletubbies and balamory and tweenies if I am lucky!

Something that i didn't realise until recently is that if you record something un-child friendly, like an 18 rated film for example, using Sky+, you have to enter your sky viewing PIN to view it before 9pm!

Good idea to stop the children flicking through recorded programmes which aren't suitable for them!

I'm not sure but the wife and daughter recorded a film rated 12, but to be able to watch it at a later date pin had to be entered when they came to watch it.
