I need to instal some tvr's to some rads,the boiler is a combi,do normal tvr's do the job or is there a special valve for a combi ????

Bill, fit TRV's on all radiators apart from the hall and fit a room thermostat there, but away from direct sun light & the radiator of course.

Only do these jobs if you are comfortable doing so, as electrics can be very dangerous & you can cause a lot of damage if your Plumbing skills are not up to it!!

A good time-served qualified Plumber would charge around £35 per TRV & a wireless room stat would be around £180(exc.vat)

thx dick,the thermo is in the hall already np with that,but the tvr's are knackered,thats why the change,but im still unsure if the combi needs special tvr's or just any tvr
