HI, I'm installing a new cooker and hob, replacing a stand alone cooker. The original cooker was on the nearside wall next to the cooker point, But the new hob will be in the middle of the room with the oven being on the far wall. I was planning on wiring the oven upto a 13amp fused spur off a socket, But I am uncertain about the twin hobs.
The hobs are 2 x 4 ring units, I'm not sure of the wattage until they get delivered, the breaker is 32 mcb run on 6mm cable. Do I have to up rate the mcb and cable to run them both of the same cable from the cooker point or do I have to have 2 seperate 32 amp mcb for each hob run on 6mm cable.
I would be greatful of any useful advise. Thanks, Honsow.
