Tyrolean

I wouldn't. Tyrolean is normally applied to a flat, 2 coat (scratch, top) cement rendered finish. If you were to put tyrolean onto a bare brick wall, you would always see the shape and outline of every brick in the wall, every blemish etc, no matter how thick you try and build it up...... I've never seen it done that way before personally.

Roughcaster.

ok i have matched up a poorly rendered wall so now all of it looks poorly rendered ! The idea was to cover all of the wall as there was bare brick work showing i pva the wall to seal in the dusty old surface , now i want to tyrolean it to try and get a more uniformed finish or is their another product i could use , i thought of painting the wall with tyrolean as a base coat then flick it on afterwards.
