Under floor heating screed

Hi there

Can anyone advice me what screen mixture I need to put on top of my HEp2o Underfllor heating pipe in my almost finished conservatory please?

I have 70mm from top of insulation to floor level.

I have looked at several post but they are a few years old and was after some recent advice.

Any reputable concrete firm will be able to advise you what mix you need.

I know it has to have some fibres in, but I can't remember the exact mix.

Hi,

Use whatever screed you would normally use but two issues you have to be careful about.
1. If you use flowscreed, (pumped), make sure you have plenty of clips to hold the pipes down. Otherwise the pipes tend to start floating.
2. Make sure the screed is completely dry before putting any heat into it.
What ever firm you use for the screed will be able you tell you how long that is.
