We have a house with a exension over the garage. The room above the garage is allways very cold, i assume because it needs some insulation.

The floor boards are the big chip board boards. Also in the room there are some fitted cupboards so i cant easily remove all the furniture.

Can anyone recommend what type insulation to use / or how to fit it?

Thanks,

Rob

I'm assuming that because the extension is above a garage that you have a ceiling installed in the garage. The simplest way would be to line the ceiling of the garage with insulation sheets. I've seen rolls of foil backed insulation for underfloor and attics that are less than 1cm thick from Screwfix.
