After having a soakaway for many years for my conservatory (clay soil led to garden often flooding), I have had a downpipe fitted which drains into new underground drainage pipes and connects up with the drain from kitchen sink. This was OK'd by the council as I have a combined system. I have had the work done by a local builder and everything works OK - water goes into the joint sewer on neighbours garden. What does worry me is that because the land sloped slightly where these underground pipes were laid, the builder has raised the end slabs to accomodate this and put concrete to support them
It looks odd - these slabs are kind-off sticking up from the surrounding area -
any ideas the best course of action.
