I have been looking on the structural calculations for a timber frame first floor extension that will have hung tiles on all external walls. Is there something I should be able to see that would tell me the load that would be put on the concrete trench foundation and confirm the foundations are adequte? The foundation goes down 1.1m and is about 450mm wide and supporting the first floor front middle and rear there will be steel beams going across which will rest on engineering brick padstones either side.
The picture below shows what is currently there and it is the all brick wall gable end that will have one end of the steel beams resting on. The brick wall is a single skin wall.
