Hi
I'm just about to start renovating a house and when we have lifted the carpet, the floor is a disaster! It's very uneven and seems to have sunk about 2 inches from the skirting in some places. It seems to have been patched randomly over the years (I found wall plaster in some bits!).
I thought self levelling concrete would do the trick, however one builder has told me i'll have to dig up the whole floor and lay the whole thing again. Does this sound right or is it a waste of money? Help!
