Unstoppable Shower!

The electic shower we have had for a couple of years now fails to turn off the water supply.

It keeps running cold water for up to 10 minutes! Is a new shower the only option?
If so, any recommendations?

Sounds like the solenoid operating the water on/off has gone. Given the shower is a couple of years old; the difficulty in getting bits for many of them and that if its a powerful 9kW + shower you are lucky that one of the heating cans hasnt gone already. All in all it'd probably be the best option to have a brand new one fitted by whoever is coming to repair it. It'll take just about as long to fit new as it does to mess about with the old. Just my 2 euros worth.
